Photoshop Project

So, I really don’t want to take on anything that’s real because that seems kinda lame. INSTEAD! I’m going to pretend I’m the least bit famous (even though I know that’s not going happen– gimme a break I can dream, okay?!) and am sorting through ideas for: Film posters, Artist Series, and Stand-Up Comedy Tour promotional posters.

My strong (better) suit is with photography rather than with illustrations– meaning there isn’t enough time for me to get magically better at drawing so I’m just going to rely on photography and text. And, really, those are some of my favorite posters. For instance anything that Storm Thorgerson has touched is absolutely brilliant to me.

So… Gonna get on that.

Film Poster ideas:

I'm writing a short film in my screenwriting class, so I thought, "Well here's a fake movie I can promote one day as a REAL film!" And so I am. This is just a "sketch", if you will.

Any better? I realize I can fix that window, but eh, I'll get to it later. XD

Hmm, I liked how the text came out. Is the shadow a little off?

My retarded self forgot to put the f*cking paint brush on a different layer and now it's stuck there. Oh well. I think this is a bit too busy... or something. EITHER WAY. I'm fixing the text but I'm not 100% sure where to go from here.
